Privacy notice

This notice explains what www.vlg-tech.com collects when you send us an inquiry, and which outside services the site uses. The site is run by Shenzhen VLG Wireless Technology Co., Ltd (“VLG”), 4/F, B5 Building, Taohuayuan Technology & Innovation Ecological Park, Xixiang, Baoan, Shenzhen. Email: sales@vlg-tech.com.

What our inquiry forms collect

When you send an inquiry, a quotation request or a download request, we receive what you enter: your name and email address and, if you fill them in, your phone number, company, country, the product or file concerned and your message. We also note the language of the page. To limit repeated submissions, the server keeps a one-way coded value derived from your IP address, not the address itself.

How you found our site

To learn which channels bring inquiries, each form also sends where your visit to this site started:

• the domain of the website that linked to us, for example google.com, never the full address of that page;
• the first page you opened on this site, and the page where you sent the form;
• any campaign tags (utm_ parameters) in the link you followed;
• whether that link carried an advertising click identifier such as gclid: we record the name of the parameter, never its value;
• the time your visit started;
• your answer to the optional question “How did you find us?”.

Until you send a form, this stays in your browser’s session storage for that tab, and the browser clears it when the tab is closed. It uses no cookies and is not sent anywhere unless you send a form.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to your inquiry. We use the source information to learn which channels (search engines, AI assistants, other websites or campaigns) bring inquiries, so that we can improve the site.

Where it is kept

Your inquiry and its source information are kept together in this website’s database, which runs on Cloudflare. VLG staff read them there, and a copy of each inquiry is emailed to our sales team at sales@vlg-tech.com through the email delivery service Resend.

Outside services on this site

These services load on our pages (checked on 7 November 2026). Each is run by its provider under the provider’s own privacy policy. We do not pass your inquiry or the source information above to them.

• Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (Google) measure visits. They load after your first scroll, click, key press or touch, and set Google cookies such as _ga and _gcl_au.
• Tawk.to live chat loads after your first interaction. If you use the chat, your messages go to Tawk.to.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and measures how fast pages load.
• Google Maps: the contact page shows an embedded Google map.
