A GNSS FPC antenna offers a thin satellite-reception element for compact connected devices. VLG V2189-026-A-03 and V2189-038-A-02 provide two different geometries and listed frequency ranges. They can be evaluated where a flexible printed circuit fits the enclosure better than a taller antenna package.

The ZHY964-BD V2189-026-A-03 lists 1560–1610 MHz and measures 50 × 15 mm, with a 125 mm lead. The ZHY963B V2189-038-A-02 lists 1560–1580 MHz and measures 35 × 34.2 × 0.2 mm. The narrower range must be checked against every required receiver signal.
The specification tables do not establish an identical active amplifier arrangement for both options. Define whether the receiver expects an active or passive antenna, the feed connection and any required bias handling. Do not treat a GNSS FPC element as a ready-to-swap replacement for a powered antenna without checking the electrical design.
The ZHY963B specification lists linear polarization. That detail should remain visible during selection rather than being replaced with a generic RHCP claim. Test the antenna in the device’s intended orientation and review satellite reception with nearby electronics operating.
An embedded FPC depends on the host enclosure for its installed environmental protection. Keep its position, adhesive arrangement and cable routing consistent with the validated sample. Changes to the enclosure materials or nearby conductors should trigger a new RF check.
No. Compare the frequency range and measured performance with the exact signals supported by the receiver.
The thin geometry may fit a particular enclosure well. Choose based on installed reception performance and available space, not material alone.
