To celebrate its 20th anniversary, VLG organized a special four-day, three-night employee trip to the enchanting destinations of Lijiang and Dali in Yunnan Province. The company arranged two separate travel groups to ensure that everyone could participate comfortably. This unforgettable corporate adventure celebrated twenty years of growth and innovation. Day 1: Arrival and Lijiang Ancient Town Exploration
Upon arriving in Lijiang, the group began their journey at Black Dragon Pool Park, located below Xiangshan Mountain. The park is surrounded by Dragon God Temple, Five Phoenix Pavilion, and De Yue Tower. It beautifully displays the harmony between ancient architecture and natural scenery. Later, employees explored Deyan Ancient Town and Four Square Street, discovering Lijiang’s dynamic culture, flowing canals, and colorful markets. The day ended with a taste of local specialties such as Chicken Bean Jelly and Lijiang Baba, followed by a comfortable check-in at the luxurious Lilae Hotel.
Day 2: Adventure at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain
The second day brought an exciting adventure to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, often known as the “Oriental Switzerland.” The group took the Glacier Cableway, admired the spectacular Baishui River, and visited the breathtaking Blue Moon Valley. A highlight of the day was the world-renowned outdoor performance Impression Lijiang, staged at an altitude of 3,100 meters. Later, a visit to Shuhe Ancient Town offered a peaceful contrast, allowing participants to experience authentic local traditions and serene surroundings. Day 3: Journey to Dali and Shuanglang Ancient Town
On the third day, the group journeyed to Dali to explore the charming Shuanglang Ancient Town along the shores of Erhai Lake. Employees enjoyed panoramic views and experienced Bai ethnic culture in locations such as Xiaoputuo Island and Panxi Village’s S-shaped Bay. A visit to Lixiangbang, known for its Santorini-inspired architecture, blended modern aesthetics with traditional landscapes, providing perfect photo opportunities. The day ended at the elegant Shengtin Smart Hotel, offering high-quality accommodation that complemented Dali’s tranquil beauty.
Day 4: Dali Ancient Town and Farewell Moments
The final day included an immersive visit to Dali Ancient Town and Xizhou Ancient Village, where the distinctive “Three Courtyards and One Screen Wall” architecture illustrated the charm of Bai culture. Cycling along the scenic Erhai Lake corridor gave participants a refreshing outdoor experience.
