The key to using coated glass as a glass antenna lies in its coating materials and their electrical properties. Conductive coatings, such as indium tin oxide (ITO) or silver nanowire coatings, are often applied to glass surfaces. These coatings provide the necessary conductivity for the glass to act as an antenna element, allowing it to transmit and receive electromagnetic waves. However, there are challenges associated with using coated glass as a glass antenna.
