The frequency range determines the range of frequencies that the antenna can effectively transmit or receive. Gain refers to the ability of the antenna to focus or amplify the signal in a particular direction. The radiation pattern describes the distribution of the electromagnetic field around the antenna.

There are different types of antennas, including dipole antennas, monopole antennas, parabolic antennas, and array antennas. Each type has its own unique characteristics and is suitable for different applications.
